David H. Wang Ph.D.

CEO and President of ACM Research, Inc.

David Wang is ACM’s founder and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President and also as a company director since January 1998. Dr. Wang received a Ph.D. and Master of Engineering in Precision Engineering from Osaka University and a Bachelor of Science in Precision Instruments from Tsinghua University. He is the inventor of stress-free Cu polishing technology, and he holds more than 100 patents in semiconductor equipment and process technology. Dr. Wang brings extensive experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing processes and markets from his many years of leadership in the industry.

Mark McKechnie

CFO and Treasurer of ACM Research Inc.,

Mark McKechnie has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of ACM Research, Inc. since November 2019. Mr. McKechnie joined ACM Research and was appointed as the Company’s Vice President of Finance in July 2018. He has more than 25 years of experience in product management, public equity markets, and corporate finance at Motorola, Intel, Evercore Partners and other Wall Street and technology companies. Mr. McKechnie holds a BSEE from Purdue University and an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern.

Jim Straus

Vice President of Sales, North America of ACM Research, Inc.

Jim Straus has served as ACM’s Vice President of Sales for North America since April 2020. Mr. Straus has 30 years of experience in semiconductor equipment sales, business development, account management, and operations supporting leading global semiconductor manufacturers. Mr. Straus holds a BS from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and an MBA from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Howard Chen

General Counsel & Vice President of Strategy of ACM Research, Inc.

Howard Chen joined ACM Research as General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Strategy in 2024. Before joining ACMR, Mr. Chen was a leading high-tech legal practitioner based in San Francisco for decades, having represented numerous global technology companies with significant operations in Asia including Taiwan based technology leaders such as TSMC, VIA, Acer, Wistron, Wiwynn, and Nanya, to name a few.

Mr. Chen most recently served as the Co-Chair of the China Practice at Greenberg Traurig, a large global law firm and, before that, was a leading partner representing Asian high-tech companies at another large global law firm K&L Gates. With more than 25 years of technology and legal experience, beginning with his first engineering role at AMD, Mr. Chen’s career has been marked by significant contributions to technology firms globally, in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Mr. Chen has earned accolades such as being named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” and “IP Stars,” highlighting his prestigious standing in the legal community.
